by Paul Pawlowski, ASLA, FAAR

The monthly Trees of New Bedford series is brought to you by Out on a Limb whose members are dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of our city’s urban forest by raising awareness of the environmental significance, botanical beauty, unique heritage, and maintenance needs of New Bedford’s public and private tree population.

Out on a Limb meets at the James Arnold Mansion monthly.  You can also find us on Facebook. Charitable tax-deductible contributions are welcome and support educational programs, these articles, and other tree-related activities.

If you know of a remarkable tree, please let us know about it and its location.  Nominations of trees on public and private properties to be considered for future articles and a future city-wide inventory of our city’s great trees can be made by sending a photo of the tree and its address to:  outonalimb@jamesarnoldmansion.com
