Green Shuttle Launches Location in New Bedford

For the past 12 years The Green Shuttle has provided a high quality private environmental car service from Cape Cod to area airports, train stations and all points in Boston and throughout New England. They will now be establishing operations at 1213 Purchase Street in New Bedford.

“We have been very impressed with the vision of [New Bedford] Mayor Mitchell and the remarkable transformation occurring in New Bedford,” Dean Athanas, Owner and Founder of the Green Shuttle, said recently. “We would like to be a part of that transformation and hopefully be a partner and facilitator for the future of this city.”

In a public transportation-challenged city, the Green Shuttle will offer an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional black car services, specializing in transportation to and from Boston and Providence RI airports, train stations, and other points of interest.

The core fleet includes top-of-the-line Toyota Avalon Hybrids. The company also offers Lexus RX Hybrid and Highlander Hybrid SUVs. Reservations are accepted via e-mail or telephone 24 hours a day. Call (508) 563-6472 for more information.

Operations Manager Chris Paolini has been active in the New Bedford area business community for over a year now thanks to his membership and participation in the Southcoast Chamber of Commerce and the Southeastern Massachusetts Business Network.

“I cherish our partnerships in New Bedford and the Southcoast,” Paolini said. “It is our pleasure to bring cleaner private transportation into the region, and in the process, collectively reduce our carbon footprint.”

“We have been using Green Shuttle for several years for our guests and executives. They have always been reliable and flexible when it comes to booking transportation,” stated Will McNulty, Sales Administrator at Ahead LLC. “Whether it’s a flight delay, cancelation, or a booking with short notice, they always come though. Their vehicles are always clean, and the drivers are exceptional.”

Any means of establishing better connections between New Bedford and the wider world is good by us! Especially with bonus points for being environmentally friendly.
